What is this thing, this thing called life
Is it supposed to be fun, or full of strife?
Are we destined to be joyously happy, or sad,
Do we have a purpose, should we be good, or bad?
Is there a reason why we’re all here in this place,
That we call earth, and as a human race,
Are we separate individuals, or are we as one?
And can we get it right before everything is done?
 
That is my purpose before you today,
To help you to find the big answers, if in a small way.
I became a Life-Coach to aid my fellow-man,
To help ease your fears, to help give you a plan.
To help you to realize (hopefully within this hour)
That we’re not alone, that there is a Higher Power.
 
How do I know, how can I be so sure?
Because I’ve seen the light that will help you endure.
This light is immense, it stretches far and wide,
But, the uncanny thing is that…it’s found inside.
Yes, you have this light, but it must be found,
To do so, you must have a mind and body that is sound.
 
You need to keep thoughts that are positive and pure,
But, that’s no problem, it’s in our nature for sure.
This light is Divine, and accessible to all,
Sadly, only few have found it as most, “drop the ball.”
Why is this so? How can so many be so blind?
Is it because it takes some effort to find?
 
Are we so entrenched in our present state,
That we leave everything in life up to fate?
Do we honestly think that we have no choice,
About our circumstances; that we have no voice?
Well, I’m here to tell you that you have the power,
To change your life, to blossom like a lotus flower.
 
To see this light, all it takes is an iron will,
All you have to do is to simply…be still.
Just be still long enough to quiet your mind.
Once you quiet the “chatterbox,” then you will find,
All of the answers to the questions that you face,
They are all right there, in this Sacred place.
 
This Sacred place is right in tune with your heart
It’s called your Soul, and tis where you must start.
To rebuild your life, you must start anew,
If anyone else can do it, why not you?
And if not now, then I must ask, when?
Now is the best time of all to begin.
 
Because now is the only time we that have, my friend!
 
Now is the only truth, now is our reality.
For the past is gone, and the future will never be.
What better time to start than right now, today?
One way to begin is by thinking in another way.
You must understand just what you truly are,
You are a beacon of light, a bright shining star.
 
You are an extension of Divinity, of Power and Grace,
You were put here to have “Dominion” over this place,
That we call earth, yes, you are the King,
You can do, have, or be anything!
The keys to the Kingdom are locked in your Soul.
In order to find them, you must become whole.
 
Most people seemingly, don’t have a clue,
As to how to think, or as to what to do.
Society makes us think that making money is the key,
But, there are plenty of rich people who are unhappy.
So, what must you do to unlock this vault?
Part of the problem is that it’s not all your fault.
 
This society pushes you in entirely the wrong way,
We’re “spiritually unconscious” Tolle had to say.
Just sit down, relax, and quiet your mind.
Then, and only then, you will begin to find,
All of the answers that you’ve been searching for,
It’s all in there, plus so much more.
 
Like, what your purpose is, and what’s the plan,
For your rightful place as a Sacred woman, or a man
You’ll tap into your values, your true wants and needs,
It’s there that you will find all of your seeds,
Of greatness, of worth, of peace and of joy,
It’s all in there, no matter if you’re a girl or a boy.
 
“The Kingdom is at hand” Jesus is to have said,
If this is the case, then we can have it now; not after we’re dead.
Some people may have a problem with what I have to say,
But, I’ve seen the Light of truth, it has shown me the way.
The way to eternal bliss isn’t through material things,
It’s the Spiritual realm that really makes your heart sing.
 
The material world must change, and that’s a fact.
The Spiritual world is constant, and thus has your back.
The material world is full of suffering, pain and despair,
In the Spiritual world there is hardly a care.
The Spiritual realm is where, sight unseen,
Love, joy, peace and wisdom convene.
 
We’re so caught up in the things that we can see,
We think that the things unseen can’t really be.
However, they are the truly important things.
Like the unending joy that peace of mind brings.
Happiness and joy aren’t things that you can buy,
No matter how hard you fight, or how hard you may try.
 
An Ancient Chinese proverb puts it best,
If you understand this, you’re up for the test.
You can buy a watch, but you can’t buy time,
Just as you can buy a pencil, but it won’t write a rhyme.
You can buy sex, but you can’t buy a wife.
You can even buy blood, but you can’t buy life.
 
Believing that you are an indispensable piece,
Of life’s unending puzzle, will cause you to cease,
To be so heavily steeped in this material world’s wealth.
Because you can pay a doctor, but you can’t buy health.
You can surely buy water, but not the rain from above.
You can even buy a woman, but you can’t buy love.
 
Our unending search for more material things,
To make our life whole, invariably brings,
Much more stress, more worry, and much more strife,
As we attempt to “buy” more meaning to our life.
These things that we purchase simply bring more work,
As we polish, insure, and store what we call our “worth.”
 
The truth is, the things that really matter can’t be cleaned,
They can’t be moved, because they can’t be seen.
They aren’t subject to credit-checks, or to lay-away,
They can’t be driven, eaten, put on, or played.
You can’t put them in a bank, or in a safe place,
Except maybe in your heart, to help the human race.
 
So, sit back, relax and try to let go,
Of this cluttered part of mind, that we call the ego.
It’s the gateway that prevents us from accessing the Soul,
It’s the main reason why we can’t become whole.
The ego makes us think that we’re something we’re not,
It’s the main reason for arguments, wars, the whole lot.
 
When ego is in place, you’re Easing God Out.
And when you ease God Out, the devil’s about.
And if the devils about, there’s nothing but sin,
I don’t think that’s the place that you want to be in.
Most of us want love, happiness, joy and peace,
When you acquire these concepts, the devil must cease.
 
Because joy and evil can’t invariably mix,
So, the only possible way to make the fix,
Is to concentrate on the things that you desire,
Not on things that bring you closer to the fire.
Your success and happiness depends entirely on you,
It’s in the way that you think, and the things that you do.
 
It’s in your attitude, your beliefs, and in your faith,
But, mostly it’s in your Soul, where your true answers lay.
If you listen long enough, the answers will reveal,
Just how you really think, and how you really feel.
Your Soul is the essence of who you truly are,
Not your job, your name, your religion, or your car.
 
You don’t need any books, degrees, or a crystal ball,
To tell you what to do, or how to have it all.
All of the answers you’ll need are already there,
Find them and end your suffering, pain and despair.
Everything you need has been put into place,
By Divine Intelligences’ almighty Grace.
 
The biggest obstacle is the incessant “chatter,”
That goes on in our brain, that we think doesn’t matter,
But, it’s the main reason why we’re stuck in this rut,
It’s the reason for psychology and why they may call you a “nut.”
This unconscious ego that constantly plays in our head,
Makes us all walking zombies, just like the living dead.
 
We go through the motions like a conditioned elf,
While moving farther and farther away from our true self.
But, it’s all a part of the world leaders plan,
To make you think and feel less and less of a man.
This makes you dependent on the products that they sell
You know, the jewelry and cars that mask your living hell.
 
At least, “I’m eating good,” some may rightfully say,
But, from the soup line they’re only one paycheck away.
So, don’t get so caught up in this maddening rush,
For more money, jewels and things that are plush.
Make learning yourself your number one goal,
It’s the only thing that will truly make you feel whole.
 
However, not of a narcissistic, or egoistic kind,
Do it as a Divine Creation, with an open mind.
The only way for us to live peacefully on earth,
Is to realize and utilize our gifts given to us from birth.
Everyone has them, as they are heaven-sent.
They are unique to you, just like your fingerprint.
 
D’Annunzio says we have between sixteen and twenty-four,
And it’s not improbable that some may have even more.
These gifts are your talents and passions, given only to you,
It’s up to you to find them and put them to good use
There’s also a life-force inside, as you will hopefully see,
In India it’s called prana, in the far east they call it chi.
 
It will spring forth inside of you like a breath of fresh air,
To give you new strength, where there once was despair.
All of this can, and will happen and so much more,
When you simply go into your room and close the door.
Some call it meditation, others call it prayer,
I say, why not do both, while you’re sitting there?
 
Unfortunately, most people claim they can’t quiet their mind,
Perhaps, I dare say that may be why they feel left behind.
It’s really not that hard once you reach a certain stage,
Your life is like a book, and when you turn a certain page,
You’ll reach a certain chapter where you’ll try anything once,
Because your life isn’t where you want, you may feel like a dunce.
 
But, when your life hits a point of no return,
When there’s nowhere to hide, and nowhere to run.
It’s then that you may realize that we are not alone,
If you don’t believe it, turn off the TV and turn off the phone,
Go to a quiet place and simply be still,
Infinite Intelligence will speak to you, it will.
 
It will tell you exactly what you need to do,
It’s honest and loving, it won’t lie to you.
It is the most complete knowledge that you can possibly learn,
It is definitely something that you shouldn’t spurn.
Once something makes sense, it is much easier to do,
It shouldn’t be a stretch for this to “click in” with you.
 
I struggled for years, and that’s for sure,
I often wondered, “Am I destined to be poor?”
I asked, “Is this all that life has to offer me?”
That’s when Infinite Intelligence said, “Look inside and you’ll see.”
“I’ve given you all the answers…you just failed to look,
In your Soul is where they lay, and not in some book.” 

They’re not found in someone else’s money-making plan,
The answers, a.k.a. “The Kingdom” are definitely at hand.”
Don’t take my word for it, just try it and you’ll find,
That everything you need, is right there in line.
It’s always been there, ever since your birth,
Waiting for you to claim them, to help save this earth.
 
It takes a Higher Consciousness to see this through,
To comprehend the magnitude of what you’re supposed to do.
This can also be developed, simply by changing your mind.
Once you do this, then you’ll be able to find,
The path that was laid down eons ago,
Once you go inside, then you will instinctually know.
 
What your Soul feels, and you’ll also begin to see,
What your Source wants and needs you to be,
Once you tap into your Soul and find out who you truly are,
You’ll understand that you’re a shining star,
A Grand Conception, an extension of Divinity,
When you comprehend that it’s not all about money,
 
Then you’ll experience the Power and the Grace,
That will keep an eternal smile on your face.
Knowing that you’re doing what you were put here to do,
Will make a total transformation come over you,
Once you find your Divine purpose in life,
No one can stop you, not your husband, or your wife.
 
You’ll become the ultimate master of your fate,
You’ll have no time, or reason to bicker, or to hate.
Once you see yourself as a true Spiritual Soul,
And not this “material thing” that you can hold,
Then, you’ll see others as Sacred Souls as well,
And this is the Eternal Plan, as far as I can tell.
 
As individuals, we must continue to do God’s Will,
But, in order to hear it, we must learn to be still.
It is my prayer to these words, you’ll do more than read,
Hopefully, these words will help plant the seed,
Of greatness, that is patiently waiting to unfold,
So that you can experience true wealth untold.
 
Love, joy and peace are states of your mind,
Not something in this material world to find.
Once you comprehend this, and put into motion,
The gifts from inside, you’ll realize that you’re an ocean,
Of possibilities, of Love and of prosperity,
Money will be no object, as you will soon see.
 
You’ll live in total abundance, that’s for sure,
If you keep your heart true and your soul pure.
Simply find out what you would do all day,
Even, if you received no pay.
Find your “thing,” find what makes you swoon,
Find your talents, gifts, passions and soon,
 
Your world will open up to this magnificent place,
You’ll notice that there’s a perpetual smile on your face.
It’s because you’re doing the right thing, and at the right time,
And for all the right reasons, to which you were once blind.
You’ll cease all suffering, despair and pain,
Once you realize that life’s not about material gain.
 
It is my sincere prayer that to these words you’ll take heed,
And to those who do…I wish you Godspeed.

Judge Thomas Troward

The Late, Judge Thomas Troward, (1847-1916) is my mentor and hero. I call him my “secret weapon!” (Oh well, so much for  the secret!) His philosophy, among others, is one of the reasons why I became a Life-Coach!

Troward was a Divisional Judge in The Punjab, a mentor, visionary, lecturer, healer, teacher, philosopher, author, and an Honorary Member of the Medico-Legal Society of New York and the First Vice-President of the International New Thought Alliance.

He was actually given one of the highest compliments I think I’ve ever heard a human being give to another…

On Troward..

“..probably the clearest teacher of this infinite healing principle in the world’s history, with the exception of Jesus..’

Wow! How’s that for a plug! Even I, with my highest praise for the good judge,  I can’t top that one! It’s funny though, because I always thought that Troward wrote with such prophetic flair that I often associated him with reverence also.

I don’t know if it’s his delivery, or maybe I’m just in tune with what he’s saying, but Troward’s literary style just seems to compliment my reading and comprehension style! His writings “hit home” with me in a way that no other has. Check out this quote:

 “..Judge Thomas Troward’s scientific and spiritual understanding of life has become the bedrock upon which millions of people have built beautiful lives.  The principles he painstakingly detailed in writing are his legacy to us all..”

That quote describes what Troward was able to do so well, in my humple opinion and that is to seemlessly meld Spirituality with the scientific world. And now that quantum physics has basically validated most, (if  not all) of Troward’s basic philosophies, it seems that he should take his rightful place amongst the greatest thinkers of our time!

He made me understand that our problems and situations can’t all be worked out using ”Spirituality” alone. We need Spirituality,  of course, but it must be utilized in concert with the scientific, as well as the natural world order, as with anything in life.

Not only was his insight and intellect technically advanced, (especially for his time) his perspective and grasp of The Mental Sciences and Universal Laws is unparalleled. 

But, the most amazing thing about Troward, besides “what” he says, is how he says it! His literary style is unparalled, in my humble opinion. Needless to say, if I had to name one personal influence, (besides my parents), I would consider him to be my number one mentor, of many.

Instead of trying to explain it, I’ll let him do the honors! This paragraph was taken from “The Law and the Word” Remember…this is from the early 1900′s!

Some Facts in Nature

“If I were asked what, in my opinion, distinguishes the thought of the present day from that of a previous generation, I should feel inclined to say, it is the fact that people are beginning to realize that Thought is a power in itself, one of the great forces of the Universe and ultimately the greatest of forces, directing all the others.

This idea seems to be, as the French say, “in the air,” and this very well expresses the state of the case-the idea is rapidly spreading through many countries and through all classes, but it is still very much, “in the air.”

It is, to a great extent, as yet only in a gaseous condition, vague and nebulous and so not leading to the practical results, both individual and collective, which might be expected of it, if it were consolidated into a more workable form.

We are like some amateurs who want to paint finished pictures before they have studied the elements of Art, and when they see an artist do without difficulty what they vainly attempt, they look upon him as a being specially favoured by Providence, instead of putting it down to their own want of knowledge.

The idea is true. Thought, is the great power of the Universe. But, to make it practically available we must know something of the principles by which it works–that it is not a mere vaporous, indefinable, influence floating around and subject to no known laws, but that on the contrary, it follows laws as uncompromising as those of mathematics, while at the same time allowing unlimited freedom to the individual.”

Is that poetic or what? There’s so much wisdom in just those few paragraphs that it isn’t even funny.  Such as, the artist analogy of how most of us expect to become wealthy beyond our dreams in our own business, even though we haven’t taken a single business class!

 The sad thing is that even though millions have changed their lives using these techniques, the message is over a hundred years old! It  still seems to be “in the air“ as a gaseous , nebulous, vague condition. I would think that by now, a concept that is so practical, natural, powerful and yet Spiritual as this, would have taken the world by storm by now!

The good thing though is that we can change all of that. There is now a “Workable Form,” that has been consolidated, thanks in part to Mr. Troward himself. And just what would that “Workable Form” be?

The Law of Precession

The Law of Precession is the Universal Law that says nothing moves until something “acts.” In other words it’s the law of action.  The law of precesssion is the brainchild of Buckminster Fuller, (1895-1983) an American philosopher, architect, humanitarian, visionary, inventor and author.

The law of precession also says that an action, such as a rock thrown into a still pond, not only creates ripples of waves in the water, the waves also spread out and continue to contact and meet other waves, rocks and may even reach the distant shore, making changes along the way.

In other words, action not only creates momentum, the correct action which is also intended for the “greater good” of mankind, also has a synergistic effect on the rest of the universe. 

The law of precession is arguably the most underutilized of all the Universal Laws, because everyone that initially becomes aware of the law of attraction, thinks that manifestation is all magical, “hocus-pocus” and that it’s not supposed to take any real effort.

Nothing could be further from the truth!

It’s just another reason why I became a Life-Coach. To help “clear the air” about the Universal  Laws, especially the law of attraction. The law of attraction has been hailed as “the most powerful” of all of the Universal Laws, which I disagree with. To read about the most powerful law click here

By implying that the law of attraction is the most powerful law, it gives the false security that the law of attraction is all you need for creative manifestation. It also negates the  power and dulls the vital importance of the other universal laws that are surely needed, not only for manifesting, material things, but for the complete and ultimate expression of  a joyful life.

The Runt of the Litter!

The law of precession ends up being the, “runt of the litter” of the universal laws, because this is where the ”work” comes in; a word most of us don’t want to hear, or do!

In today’s technologically-advanced, computerized society, everyone wants the “easy” way out! But, without the “action” part of the equation, you won’t get any results with QCM. The law of precession explains the effect that “bodies in motion” have on other, “bodies in motion.”

In other words, if you drop a stone in a pond, the stone drops straight down, but the waves ripple out in right angles along the water. So, the effect of dropping the stone, actually causes two different actions in the water, one vertical and the other horizontally.

Your actions cause a synergy that combines and harmonizes with other actions or forces in the universe, just like your thoughts harmonize with “like” frequencies. Sometimes those “side effects” can actually be more powerful than the original action!

So, don’t just sit around waiting for the law of attraction to make things happen for you. You must take positive action on your thoughts, dreams and ideas, but most importantly on your intuitions. Your “gut” is the best indicator of when and what type of action to take.

Quantum Theory

Quantum Theory is concerned with the study of the “building blocks” of the universe. Quantum Theory encompasses, but is not limited to, Quantum (Q) Physics, (Q) Field Theory, (Q) Mechanics, (Q) Electrodynamics, (Q) Thermodynamics, (Q) Chromodynamics and far too many other theories, principles and disciplines to mention here.

If you are totally unfamiliar with any of the terms above, or feel an anxiety attack coming on because of the technical sounding nature, don’t worry, I’m not a quantum physicist, so we’re not going to get into anything that you didn’t learn in 8th grade science.  (Besides, if I was, I’d have to charge you for this info!)

That’s the great thing about all of this. You don’t need to be a “rocket scientist” to understand and utilize the basic concepts of quantum theory; you just need a reasonable amount of intelligence and an open mind that is acceptable to new ideas.

If  you’ve seen the hit movie, “The Secret” you’ve probably heard of Quantum Theory or Quantum Physics, as one of the stars in the movie was a Quantum Physicist. 

World famous Physicist, Neils Bohr said:

“If  Quantum Mechanics hasn’t profoundly astounded you, you don’t understand it yet!”

Without getting too technical, if you only comprehend the basics of  Quantum Mechanics, you will understand the importance of not only controlling your thoughts, but more importantly you will understand that it’s not just your thoughts alone that makes a difference…it’s the type of energy of your thoughts that is the most important variable in the ultimate success or failure of any endeavor.

Quantum Theory Basics

Let’s break it down from the beginning. Here are the “creation facts” as we know them.

The Universe is in the cosmos, the earth is in the Universe and we humans inhabit the earth. We are made up of tissue, bone and fluids, which is made up of what? Cells… good, ok, what are the cells made of? Molecules, right? Ok, what are molecules made up of? Uh huh,

Atoms! Ok, now we’re getting tiny. As a matter of fact, it was once thought that the atom was the smallest form of matter, but then back in the day, we also thought that the world was flat too, so…

Of course, we now know that an atom is comprised of , what? Do you remember? Protons, neutrons and electrons, right? Ok, now we’re getting into the microscopic, quantum world.  Quantum Theory is basically the study of the sub-atomic world, or the study of the make up and interactions of atoms…or, the  ”building blocks” of the entire Universe.

This is probably where 8th grade science stops and your open mind will have to take over, because the sub-atomic world behaves like nothing we can even imagine let alone comprehend, given our current concepts of reality, science, mechanics, movement and our ideas of three- (or four) dimensional  space and time, etc.

But unfortunately, most of us are aware of the immense power of a nuclear bomb, so that should give you an idea of the magnitude of the power we’re talking about here.

The Sub-Atomic World

Here’s where things tend to get a little more complex and a lot tinier, but stay with me, hopefully it will all make sense in a minute.

We now know,  (from the use of  “atomic nuclear colliders and accelerators”)  that there are a “sea” of other “particles” within the protons, neutrons and electrons that are called “quarks,”  (yes, it was believed to be named after the sound that a duck makes!)

We’re not going to list all of the other constituents within the quarks because believe it or not, there are far too many to mention here, (about 40 more!)But, the point is that when the smallest constituents of a quark (we’re talking 0.00000000000000001 of a meter, or about a billionth of a meter, give or take!)  is broken down, it has been discovered that there is nothing but a packet, or frequency/wave/particle of vibrational energy. We and everything else in the universe is made up of packets of pure energy!

If there aren’t a thousand questions stirring around in your head by now… maybe you need to re-read the above statement. The first question I had was…how can that be? The funny thing though, is that just as with “The New Thought Movement” ,this isn’t something new, either.

This was actually formulated in the early 1900′s by Albert Einstein in the most famous of all equations: E=MC2, which simply means that Energy (E) is equal to Mass (M) times (C2) the speed of light, squared. Which basically means that energy and mass are interchangable, or one and the same.

So, what does all of this have to do with the “condition” of man? Oh, I’d say… HOW ABOUT, EVERYTHING!

The New Thought Movement

A ton of the information and material that I share on this blog, while seemingly, relatively new and high-tech to some, actually comes from what’s known as, “The New Thought Movement.” 

The funny, (and oddly strange) thing though is that as amazingly, life-changing, eye-opening and unbelievable all of  this information and “Movement” is…it really isn’t “new” at all! It’s actually a century old!

I actually recieved this knowlegde through and by the Law of Attraction, (among other laws). I prefer not to follow the so-called, modern day, “self-help guru’s” out there. Now, I’m  not implying that there aren’t some brilliant teachers out there, I’ve just found through my research that it’s better to get your info from as close to the “source”  as possible.

One reason is that, as you read both, (modern-day vs. old masters) you’ll find that most of the modern guru’s are just rehashing and putting a new “spin” on the old masters knowledge!

Through a sincere desire, positive thinking, good intentions, prayer and  meditation, I became aware of the movement through a little known, but powerful author in her own right, named Gwenevieve Berhend. She is the author of, “Your Invisible Power” and “Attaining Your Desires,” two books that I highly recommend.

Sometimes, the Universe may lead you to one through another, it’s up to us to take the “hints” whenever they come along.

Gwenevieve just happened to be the one and only student of the late Judge Thomas Troward, (1847-1916.) Troward, a Divisional Judge in the Punjab, was a the first Vice-President of the International New Thought Alliance and an Honorary member of the Medico-Legal Society of New York.

If that wasn’t enough, he was also a teacher, author, lecturer,  visionary, healer,  sage and a Master of the Mental Sciences and the written word. He is considered the “father” of the International New Thought Movement, which actually began in the late 1800′s.

There is actually a different “faction” of the New Thought Movement in America. There is a more religious faction that is connected to the Religious Science, (Science of Mind) Church and the Unity Churches that was founded by Phineas Quimby.

Although they are both more spiritually than religiouslybased than “traditional” religions and have the same basic philosophy, I’m just more familiar with Judge Troward’s  International New Thought Movement.

So, where has all of this “ground-breaking” info been all of this time?

Basically, under the radar. New Thought Philosophy has been called “the  best kept secret in the world,” but it’s gaining in popularity by leaps and bounds because of the Internet and movies like, “The Secret.”

The philosophy of the New Thought Movement isn’t to be confused with,  “New Age thinking though. New Thought is based on Metaphysics, Universal (Natural and Spritual) Laws and the Mental Sciences. It has also been called the “Mind- Cure” Movement.

Other reasons for it’s sudden rise to the forefront is because of the current economic “condition” of mankind; it’s common-sense practicality;  it’s Natural/Spiritual approach and because of the new and almost unbelieveable discoveries about energy in Quantun Mechanics (QM). 

It’s as if Troward had some type of Divine Knowledge of Quantum Theory before the theories even surfaced! I think one of the many reasons why I resonated  so well with him was because his practicality reminds me of my father. If you look up the word “practical” in the dictionary, you’ll find a big picture of my dad!

Instead of trying to explain it, check out the practical almost to the point of being humorous, first sentence in his book description from one of his  many classics, ”Bible Mystery and Bible Meaning,” 

This is actually from 1913!:

What I propose is that we shall reread the Bible on the supposition that Jesus and these other speakers really meant what they said. I hope that by helping, in however small a measure, to elucidate them, it will show the reasonableness of great truths which those who reject them as unreasonable, discredit to their own incalculable loss.

Man! I want to write like that when I grow up! There is a ton of practical sense in just in that paragraph alone. The most disturbing thing to me though, is the fact that as long as this wisdom has been around, (over a century) it’s still not well-known, understood or utilized properly. 

How do I know? By the current condition of mankind! Things aren’t going too well, as of right now, for a lot of people. There are actually those, (that listen and adhere to the mass-media) that think and believe that their circumstances are so bad, that “the end” may be near! That’s pretty dire!(I’ve heard several people say this!)

I don’t know about you, but I still anticipate a alot more out of life!

The New Thought Philosophy

 New Thought Philosophy is based on using Spirituality, Universal Laws and the Mental Sciences to solve daily problems. While very Spiritual, it is also extremely practical in nature. New Thought doesn’t concern itself with religious doctrine or “how” to experience God.

New Thought believes that God is Love and that Love is in our true nature.  It was originally started as a healing mechanism, believing that all sickness originates in the mind.

The Law Of Cause and Effect

The Law of Cause and Effect is the universal and Spiritual law that states that you “Reap what you sow.” Another way of saying it is, “What goes around comes around.”

I want you to understand that these universal laws are immutable and binding, whether we know them or not, whether we believe them or not, or whether we understand them or not. Doesn’t it make complete sense to learn them and learn how to utilize them, since they are active in our lives regardless?

The law of Cause and Effect is probably one of the better known universal laws. It is the law that signifies that if you plant a corn kernel, then a corn plant will sprout…and not a rose bush. It’s just another way for the universe  to help Mother Nature in keeping the natural “order” of things.

Could you imagine how chaotic life would be for a farmer, if he had no clue as to what kind of plants would sprout from his seed? What if a peanut farmer planted a yardfull of what he thought were peanuts, just to find out that watermelons were sprouting up everywhere?

I know that sounds crazy (in the plant world), but we do it all the time with our lives? We constantly plant subconscious cactuses in our mind, but expect beautiful rose bushes to grow and flourish in our lives!

The problem is that some people don’t even realize that they themselves are their biggest enemy! It’s not the government, your lack of education, your job, or your family’s fault for your lack of success, it’ s simply that little voice in the back of your head (your subconsciousness) telling you that you’re not smart enough, or worthy enough, in one way or another.

Self-denial, self doubt, self-defeat and low self-esteem, are the biggest detractors of success known to mankind. How do I know? Because I grew up in probably one of the most positive, nurturing, environments I could’ve possibly asked for and yet, I still used to succomb to those very same thoughts and feelings of doubt.

I can’t imagine the changes someone must go through who wasn’t as fortunate as I was to have a loving environment to grow up in. But, the great thing is that it your past doesn’t really matter…all that matters is today! Once I changed my mindset…it changed my life!

The Real Deal

Here’s the real deal. These universal laws aren’t just cliches, “feel good” sayings, or great Biblical quotes to try to live by. They are real! They are valid and they work! All you have to do is choose to learn and utilize them!

I know, it almost sounds too good to be true and we all know what they say about things that, “sound too good to be true”…they usually aren’t true! But, what have you got to lose by trying them? A few minutes of your time? Isn’t your life worth a few minutes of your time?

Since we have established that everything in existence started with a thought, I think it’s time to reveal the other important variables of  Cause and Effect (which has the same characteristics as the Law of Attraction) and that is:

Feelings

While thought is the seed of creation, feelings are the engine that drives the thought to where it needs to go to materialize, or manifest itself. For example, if you think a thought, let’s just say you want a new dress. You’ve seen a red dress in a store that you like.

First of all, you probably won’t attract that dress through Quantum Creative Manifestation (QCM). How can I say that already, at this point?  Because you simply “like” the dress. For QCM to work properly using the law of cause and effect, you have to first be in love with the dress!

Ok, let’s say that you’re in LOVE with a dress that you saw in your favorite store (Dillard”s) window. That’s the proper starting point! But, you notice that the dress is a little pricey. So, in attempting to attract the dress using the law of cause and effect and positive thinking, you start to think about ways that you can acquire or manifest the dress.

Since you’re familiar with the process and power of visualization, you put a picture of the dress up on your refrigerator, or vision board. You look at the picture and wish you had the dress, almost every day. But still, after several weeks, or months…nothing happens. What’s wrong? How come your dress isn’t in your closet?

Well, nothing is wrong…you’re on the right track. It just takes more than looking and wishing for QCM to work properly and efficiently. Looking and wishing simply prepares your mind for the seed/thought to sprout. It takes feelings and emotions to drive the thought/seed into materialization in the real world.

The deeper and stronger the feelings, (i.e. purpose, emotions, dreams, intentions, desires, reasons, missions, positive energy, etc) that you give the object in question, the quicker the object will manifest itself. This is directly because of the law of Cause and Effect and indirectly because of the other universal laws.

For speedy manifestation of the dress using QCM, you need to:

• Imagine how you would feel in the dress,
• Imagine how you would look in the dress;
• Imagine seeing yourself at the functions that you would wear the dress to;
• Imagine hearing the great compliments that the people are giving you about, “how great you look “in the dress;
• Imagine how you are going to “accessorize” the dress;
• Imagine how the dress blows in the wind as you walk down the street;
• Imagine how many “dates” you’re going to attract  with the dress…etc. etc.

I hope you get the bigger picture now!

The more feeling and emotion or creative positive energy that you put into a project, idea, or goal no matter what it is, the more you’ll get out of it. It’s simply a matter of  ”give and receive.”

Thought Gardening

“Thought gardening” is a practical analogy to describe the thought process of what I call, “Quantum Creative Manifestation,” (or QCM). By using a combination of the Universal Laws, (Spiritual and Natural laws) listed in this blog, Metaphysics and other Quantum techniques, this post will hopefully give you a clear-cut way of how to attract anything you want from life…yes, anything!

The reason I call it QCM, is because we’ll be using methods based on Quantum Theory.  I consider this one of the most important posts on this blog!

 One of my favorite sayings is,

“People will never care how much you know, until they know how much you care!  Hopefully, this free info will show you just that!

The Drawbacks

Believe it or not though, giving away free information actually has it’s drawbacks:  People tend to negate free info as bogus…they think that, surely they have to pay dearly for the BIG answers to life. There’s another old saying that goes,

“When the student is ready…the teacher will appear.”

Thought Gardening

It is perplexing to say the least, why we seem to completely understand the process of life and creation when it comes to plants and animals, but don’t seem to have a clue when it comes down to the most important process of all, which is…our own process of creation, manifestation and life!

Since we seem to understand the process of life for plants better than we understand ourselves, let’s use horticulture as an example, or analogy for the thought process, because I think the two are joined at the hip.

The Two Minds

It has often been said that most humans only use 10-20% of their brain. Do you believe it? I did, until I did more research.

Let’s investigate.

It’s been proven that we actually use 100% of our brain! Yeah! But, don’t celebrate yet! Since the brain is somewhat like a muscle, if our body didn’t use all of our brain matter, in one way or the other, the parts that we didn’t use would shrivel up and die, (or atrophy).

However, before we “jump for joy,” we have to realize that that statistic may be a tad bit misleading. You see, there is a difference between your brain and your mind.

Although our body uses all of our brain matter in one way or another…we probably only use about 10-20% of our mind’s infinite potential! It is our “mind’s potential” that we severely under-utilize…not our brain matter!

Now, before we get into the gardening aspect, we must first understand the “terrain.” Your “terrain” is your body and the central processing unit of your body is your brain. The human brain is one of the most miraculous organs in the universe. It can process information faster than any supercomputer ever devised.

Your brain is also divided into two separate entities, often called the male and the female, the left half and the right half.  Not only is your brain divided into two halves, or hemispheres, so is your mind. We know them as the subconscious mind and the conscious mind.  I’m sure we’re all familiar with both, but just for clarity’s sake, we’ll go over a few points

Your conscious mind takes care of  ”day-to-day” activities. It is basically in charge of and controls all of your 5 senses, daily bodily functions,  i.e. doing no.1 and no. 2, (sorry, it is what it is!)  reasoning, and data-processing.

I once thought that the conscious mind was the most powerful part of our mind, (especially since it was in charge of your feelings…as in sexual! Ok, we won’t go there!) :-) But, boy was I wrong!

I eventually found out that your conscious mind in comparison to your   subconscious mind is like a little, dim-witted cousin!  Your subconscious mind is where your ultimate power is!

Your subconscious mind is the storage system,  frequency-transmitter, and reciever of the body, which makes it your “Spiritual Control Center” among other things. Our subconscious mind also takes care of all of our involuntary bodily functions like our heart beating and breathing.

In other words, our subconscious mind takes care of all of the vital things that go on, in and with our mind, body and soul and thus a major part of our lives that we don’t normally have to think about. 

It is also supplies our vital connection to the Spiritual Realm…now, that’s a topic for another conversation!

According to Dreammanifesto.com the subconscious mind processes about 400 billion bits of information per second and these impulses travel at a speed of up to 100,000 mph! Compared to your conscious mind, which processes about 2000 bits of info per second and it’s impulses travel at speeds of 100-150 mph.

But, it makes sense after you figure in all of the other bodily functions that the subconscious mind controls. Once I learned which part of the mind was the most powerful and influential, I realized which part we needed to concentrate on developing and listening to the most. Our subconscious mind.

Horticulture 101

It has now been proven scientifically through quantum theory, that “thought” is the beginning of all creation. Everything that ever was, is, or will ever be, started as a thought.

You had to think about turning on your computer, before actually hitting the power button. You thought about drinking your cup of tea, before your body reacted and your muscles flexed to actually pick up the cup.

When you think about it how can this not be true?If you need more proof… Even God had to think about the creation of life and the Universe before he created it!

So, if  a “thought” is the basis of all creation, then it goes without saying that everything in our lives was created by our thoughts. So, it is of utmost importance that we  learn how to control and monitor our thoughts, if we seek to change our lives.

How?

Through organized thought and applied knowledge! Since a thought is the beginning of creation,  it is often referred to as a “seed.” Any farmer or gardener knows that in order to have a successful harvest in the Fall, you must prepare the soil in the Spring. The soil must be of the right composition (not too sandy, the right amount of organic matter, etc.) and treated with the proper nutrients, (fertilizer) etc.

In other words, the “conditions” must be correct for germination. For example, let’s say that you planted a corn kernel in the ground. If all of the necessary natural conditions are met, what do you think will happen? A corn plant will sprout and materialize, right?

And it’s not just that a corn plant, may materialize…if you start with a healthy seed and have the right conditions, The Law of Growth guarantees that it MUST materialize. It’s all within the natural order of Nature.

 The Law of Growth and the Law of Cause and Effect (sowing and reaping) also guarantees that if you plant a corn kernel, then a corn plant will sprout,  materialize and grow…and not a rose bush!

So likewise, the seed of thought must also have a healthy environment to sprout in your mind and to grow and materialize in the “real world”. How do you create a healthy environment? By keeping an open, aware, positive, loving, righteous, accepting, gracious, etc. etc. mind!

If this all seems like plain old common-sense to you, then explain this next statement:

Why do we as humans continue to plant “corn kernels” in our minds, but seem to continue to expect “rose  bushes” to sprout, materialize and flourish in our lives?

In other words, why do we continue to think or try to be successful, when we consistently believe and do things that we know, deep down inside of us, that are counterproductive to our success?

So, what’s a person to do?

Start thinking in a positive way, first and foremost.  Positive thinking was such a phenomenon back in the day, that an entire industry was started from it. But, positive thinking is just the start. Positive thinking simply prepares the “terrain” (your brain) for germination of the thought/seed.”

Positive thinking prepares the mind’s “soil” for the proper and complete germination of your (seed) thought. Once the thought seed is planted in the proper positive environment or “soil,” then it can (and will) germinate.

But, it doesn’t stop there. Just like with a plant, you also have to nurture your thoughts to make them materialize and continue to grow into the “mighty oaks” that they are. And that comes from the type of “nutrients” of energy that you continue to give them

You have to sprinkle the germinated thought/seed with the water of belief, and flood the thought/seed with the light of truth and feed the thought/seed with the nutrients of  “good intent, even more positive thinking and the proper action” for your thoughts to materialize grow and flourish. Need an example?

Let’s Get Specific.

For example, let’s say you want a new car…a Lexus. But, in the back of your mind you really think that a Lexus may be out of your price range. If you sincerely think that a Lexus is out of your price range, but you still want to try to obtain it using  QCM, you can stop where you are, as you’re already defeated before you start.

Why? Because the “soil” of your mind is already “polluted” with doubt that you can’t afford it, before you even plant the thought/seed of wanting it! The though/seed will just whither and die! Let’s take it a step further.

Now, let’s suppose you want and believe that you can afford a new Lexus. You have the correct, positive mindset. You plant the thought/seed…you affirm, “I want a Lexus LS, (whatever it is, be specific).” And following QCM and the Law of Attraction, you also put a picture of it up on your bulletin, or “vision board,” so that you can visualize it.

 You think about the car and look at the picture once or twice a week, you even prayed on it, but still after a few months, nothing happens? What are you doing wrong? Why hasn’t a Lexus appeared in your driveway? 

There are so many other variables involved, that I’m just going to run them down here:

1. Did you pick out the color, the size of the engine and/or the options on the car?
2. Did you go down to the dealer to sit, smell, turn on the radio, and test drive the car?
3. What are your true reasons for wanting the car? Is it for reliable transportation or purely from a ”bling bling” standpoint?
4. Do you have a plan, or are you taking the proper “actions” to acquire the car?
5. Do you really and truly believe you deserve the car?
6. Is acquiring the car a genuinely realistic goal? Did you give yourself a resonable timeframe to achieve it?
7. Have  you thought about how good it will feel when you’re driving your new car? How will your friends  feel about you having this car?
8. Do your friends/family riducule you about wanting an expensive car, or are they supportive?
9. Have you been diligent in your visualization/positive thought processes, prayer/meditation regarding the car?
10. According to Dr. Wayne Dyer, the law of attraction doesn’t give you everything that you ”want”…the law of attraction gives you what you “are!” So…have you “become” that car? In other words do you eat, sleep and dream that car?

And that’s not an exhaustive list, but you should get the idea now. If you are doing “all of the above,” and more, then I can assure you that your Lexus is on the way! Quantum Creative Manifestation guarantees it!

But, if you leave out any of the above variables, among others, then the amount of time involved in creative manifestation is exponentially compromised by the proportional lack of positive energy.

The Law of Soul Purpose

The Law of Soul Purpose is the Universal Law that states that living within the Purpose that you were naturally meant to live within, is the most efficient way to a happy, fulfilling life.

This law, or principle has been added to the list of universal laws by yours truly, thank you very kindly, because I believe that it fits all of the requirements and also carries all of the ramifications of a universal law! It’s definitely a life-changing concept, as it, along with the other universal laws, has changed my life in too many ways to mention!

The funny thing is that, I was looking all over the place for success, when it was within me all along! For an incredible analogy about this very concept, check out this video by one of my mentors and favorite people in the world….Dr. Wayne Dyer:

Finding and living your Soul Purpose gives your life it’s all important “reason for being”, it gives your life value and a central focus. Finding my Soul Purpose gave my life a foundation that really can’t be described in words; it’s the reason why I became a Life-Coach!

Notice the wording though, becoming a Life-Coach wasn’t my Soul Purpose, my Soul Purpose made me persue Life-Coaching. I’ve found that your Soul Purpose isn’t a job, a hobby, or a “thing” at all, it’s more of an evolving concept of finding out who you really are and what you really want out of life.

Funding your Purpose means finding your, ”reason why.”  It gives you a “mission statement,” for your life! So, what’s my Soul Purpose? 

I realized after some very deep reflection, that I just wanted to become a much better, more efficient, productive person and I wanted to help people to do the same…that’s pretty much it!

My very first mission statement was: To help people change their lives for the better, and leave this world in a better place than it was when I was here.

However, since your Purpose evolves around you and since we grow and change, so can and does our Purpose. I now realize more fully from the example set by our new President, Barack Obama, that one person can change the world, so my mission statement has evolved just in the past several months into:

Helping to change the consciousness of the world!

I think that is the biggest problem that we face in society, today.

I’m fulfilling part of that purpose with this blog and others and with the soon to be published website, LivingSoulPurpose.com. (LSP) The purpose (no pun intended) of LSP is to dig deeper into helping you find your Soul Purpose and how to live life with a Purpose…on Purpose!

What Soul Purpose Is…and Isn’t

I found out that your Soul Purpose doesn’t necessarily have to be some huge, complex, ”world-changing” spirit moving, earth shaking event that was sent down by an “Angel of God,” on a chariot of fire, like I (and I think others) thought.

It doesn’t have to be mind-blowing, or high-tech. It can and should be a determination that you come up with, by yourself, about yourself and for you and yours.

Now when I say, “by yourself,” I mean that it is a very personal and spiritual decison, that can only be answered by you and your creator, through a myriad of prayer, awareness, meditation, self-reflection, practice and introspection, among other things.

But, you can also consult your very close, “inner circle” of friends and family. Ask the people who know you well and whose opinion you trust what they think your talents are and what they think you’re good at. That’s a good starting point, if you’ve never really given it much thought.

Finding your Soul Purpose is basically just finding out what you’re made of; finding your wants and needs and also finding out how to use your God-given gifts and talents to benefit and bring value to both yourself and humanity.

All you really have to do is find out what really makes you happy and use what you’re very capable at, as a guide. Even if you’re simply a hell-uva carpenter, that may not be a big deal to some, but if you excel at it above most others, then that may be your Purpose!

It is as unique and personal to you as your DNA, or your fingerprint is…no one else has it, but you!

I’d always been told to “find your calling,” by various teachers and counselors throughout life and I was actually using it as a strategy in my marketing arsenal, however, I was using it  for all the wrong reasons…

I was using it simply to make money…ok, and what’s wrong with that? Nothing, except it’s much bigger than that! How can anything be bigger than making money?  Well, that’s what you need to find out for your most fulfilling life!

I have to give credit where credit is due. I found out the utmost importance of finding and living your Soul Purpose from a book called, “Killing Sacred Cows” by GarretGunderson,  “OVERCOMING the FINANCIAL MYTHS that are DESTROYING your PROSPERITY,” You know how some people jokingly say that a book, “changed their life?”

 Well, not only did this book change my life, it has indirectly been the brainchild of a half a dozen or so, companies, dozens of marketing concepts and web domains! I can’t recommend it any higher.

So, find your Purpose; find your “reason why;” and doors that were once “closed” in your life, will open up as the Universe naturally helps you to achieve that Purpose!

The Law of Polarity

The Law of Polarity is the Universal Law that states that there must be opposing sides to life. In other words, how would you really be able to comprehend  cold without heat, black without white, or pleasure without knowing pain?

It’s another phrase for the Chinese conception of Yin/Yang.

The law of polarity is also an electrical law. I think we all know what would happen if  an electrician were to cross the wrong wires…he can can cancel Christmas! A battery wouldn’t work without a negative and a positive terminal, or “pole”

What Does This Have to do With Us?

Since it is now well-known that we, as humans are bio-electro-chemical, frequency-generating and transmitting organisms, then the law of polarity also pertains to us.  We need the law of polarity to experience all of the “ups and downs” that life has to offer.

The law of polarity gives us a means to grow. You have to have “low” points to be able to know and experience the “highs.”  Life has to have cycles, to operate properly. Spring follows Fall to allow for growth. It’s actually the up and down nature or “pattern” of vibration and thus energy itself.

The law of polarity, just as with all universal principles, operates without determinations. In other words it doesn’t discriminate! It doesn’t matter if you’re black or white, rich or poor, fat or skinny, the laws will operate without fail. It is up to us to learn how to understand and master these laws for our most  fulfilling life.

How?

Have you ever wondered why some days are just better than others? Have you ever wondered why you feel so much more “alive” on some days than others? It’s generally because of the frequency, polarity and  resonance of your thought processes.

Learning and understanding the reason for the “highs and lows”  which means comprehending that they must happen, by law anyway, will ultimately help you to learn how to control your thoughts during those troubling times. In other words, as they say, “knowing is half the battle.”

For example, coming to the understanding that bad days are inevitable, (The Law of  Polarity guarantees it) gives you a totally different attitude when they eventually happen! And in this whole gamut of  QCM…     ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING!

If you’re aware of what an oscilloscope is, (a device with a computer screen that measures electrical current, or voltage) you know that frequencies are shown as a wave pattern. The cycle goes up and down, up and down, it ebbs and flows, with highs and lows depending on the frequency, as shown below.

If you can, just pretend that you have an oscilloscpe in your head, then you can measure, or try to interpret the frequencies that you allow yourself to dwell on. Use it to control and filter the thoughts that enter into your subconscious mind. How?

By being conscious of what you allow to enter your brain (consciousness) through your five senses. How? By using what I had to learn how to trust… and that is… intuition,  in other words, your “gut.”

Have you ever heard the saying to, “trust your first instincts, or trust your gut?” You know better than anyone else, the things that bother you and if something bothers you in a negative way or vibe, you have the power to either remove it, turn it off, stop viewing or reading about it, or remove yourself from it.

If you are constantly bombarded by negative images, thoughts and beliefs, you can rest assured that you will have negativity in your life. So, what’s a person to do? Well, the first thing I suggest is to…TURN OFF THE TV! It is a known fact that the majority of our images today are input through the television.

Your television is one of the most dangerous forms of media, because it contains a combination of  the two most powerful formats: audio and video. And most people have a tendency to believe the things that they see and hear on TV with a passion, because they figure whatever it is it has to be true…”I mean, I saw it on TV!”.

But, what most people seem to fail to realize is that the owners of the media giants that run the TV stations, have their own agendas as well.

So, how does one keep up with current events without TV? Easy, the Internet has an abundance of  independent, news sources that are much less biased, and give much more concise news. One of my favorites is the Information Clearing House. It is a donation only website that gives pertinent, unbiased  information.

Now, don’t get me wrong, I think it’s ok to watch certain programs on TV,  we just need to use the television for the learning tool that it is. Be mindful of the things that you and your’s watch. I watch tons of educational and financial programs, I love good  movies and sports.  

I just try not to watch too much “blood and guts,” and bad news, all of the time. Although I do enjoy a good “thriller chiller” every now and then! As a matter of fact, one of my favorite shows is The Dog Whisperer, with Cesar Millan. I think that show is beyond fantastic.

The Law of Reciprocity

The Law of Reciprocity is a universal law that states that all laws must “reciprocate” mutually with each other. In other words, all universal laws must cooperate with each other for their own (and our) mutual benefit and for the greater good of nature.

This law describes one of the main reasons why you can’t creatively manifest totally and properly by using only one or two universal laws (i.e. law of attraction, & vibration) You must learn how to utilize and integrate them all for maximum results, because they are all interconnected through the law of reciprocity.

The law of reciprocity is the “connector” or glue for all of the universal laws.  Trying to manifest changes in your life using only one or two universal laws is like trying to operate a car using only the engine and the brakes! You also need the transmission, tires, steering wheel, etc. etc.

There’s not much you need to do personallly to impliment or utilize this law.  It’s a “freebie!” Just being aware that it’s there and understanding how and why it works, is all that is needed. 

The law of reciprocity creates, or is the reason for the synergy that is needed to make the laws cooperate together to make your dreams come true. It comes from the word reciprocate, which means to “give and take,” or to interchange.

If you’ll notice, the word reciprocate also means “working together.” Most universal laws have one theme in common, besides the underlying glue of love and that is: ”Harmony.” The word “reciprocate” and harmony go hand in hand.

So, be aware that the knowledge of the interworkings of all universal laws are needed for the reality of a balanced, happy life and for creative manifestation to happen.
